FREEZE is a digital platform to curate arctic and global climate change datasets to create digital products to make these datasets more accessible to non-academic stakeholders. It curates’ products from various global and arctic organizations to provide up-to-date information about the local and global risks due to climate change. It’s main products, charts and indicators, are designed to enable information flows between science and global risk stakeholders including political and business leaders, journalists, educators and youth to support their activities.

Charts

Interactive and impactful visualizations of various datasets about local and global risks due to climate change. Main purpose of these visualizations to convey the scientific information in a simplified way to diverse audience. Datasets belong to global and regional organizations e.g. NASA, NSIDC, COPERNICUS and others.

Indicators

Scientific data contains long term trends and status of the earth’s atmosphere. Indicators are summarized output of those large datasets to provide a single indicator to quantify amount and trend of each topic related to climate risks. Indicators include Arctic sea ice, Greenland’s ice sheet loss, Extreme disaster events and others.
